Adam Gilchrist signed glove

was $1495.00

Adam Gilchrist (Gilly) is arguably the greatest all-rounder of all time. His explosive batting style often changed the shape of both test and one day matches in the blink of an eye, and has paved the way for the younger generation wicket keeper / batsman to approach the game. Gillys' batting exploits over overshadowed his talents behind the stumps, standing up to the stumps to the greatest leg spinner of all time Shane Warne, Gilly often had his work cut out. To his credit Gilly finished his international career with statistics that most international specialist batmen could only dream to achieve. In 96 test matches Gilly made 5570 runs at an average of 47.60 and the impressive strike rate of 81.98, not bad for a number 7. In those 96 test matches Gilly completed an Australian record of 418 dismissal including 379 catches and 39 stumpings.

This framed glove personally signed by Adam Gilchrist is a one of a kind piece and is surrounded by action photographs and career statistics. This piece would make a great addition to your cricket memorabilia collection.

The English media dubbed the next English tour to Australia (1882–83) as the quest to regain The Ashes. And so the world’s oldest rivalry in the great game of cricket was born.
